WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 29, 2026 — On September 22 and 23, Motion & Flow Control Products (MFCP) representatives joined The Transport Project (TTP) on Capitol Hill to advocate for the continuation and expansion of the alternative fuel tax incentives before members of the House and Senate Ways and Means Committees.
This coalition asked Congress to pass the Renewable Natural Gas Incentive Act (S. 1252/H.R. 2596). The Act provides an incentive for people using RNG-sourced fuels in their vehicles with a $1.00 tax credit for every gallon of RNG pumped.
MFCP representative Alternative Fuel Market Manager Jamie McCracken joined the coalition in Washington, explaining why alternative fuel options and incentives are good for the environment, economy, and national security.
“With rising diesel prices, now is the time to talk about domestic alternative fuel options. These options and incentives are good for the environment and provide more stability to our infrastructure. They’re also great for the economy, specifically since they are a 100 percent domestic source of fuel! More companies, like our customers, are expanding their use of CNG and RNG power,” McCracken said. “MFCP is proud to be on the forefront of advocating for incentives that continue to support the environment and our customers’ growth. It was a thrill to talk with lawmakers' offices about these important topics.”
