ParkerStore is proud to present Kyle Larson’s Outlaw Kart Showcase at the Cycleland Speedway in Chico, CA on September 5th & 6th, 2016. This is the second year for the showcase, which has been expanded into a two-night event due to the success of the previous year and growth in participant interest. A $30,000 purse is being offered to the winners, the largest purse in Outlaw Kart racing history.

Parker’s sponsorship of Kyle Larson has a long history, going back to when he was 12 years old and beginning to establish himself driving Outlaw karts at Cycleland. During this period, the Outlaw Kart Showcase was a popular event that ran before the Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway. Hosting the showcase at Cycleland is a way for Larson to connect to his roots at the speedway and give back to the community that was so formative to his racing career.

The Showcase will begin on Monday night with qualifying and preliminary races for the Box Stocks and 250 Intermediates divisions, as well as Open Division races with entrants selected by draw. This “Prelude to the Showcase” event will award $1,000 to the Open Division winner. The A-Main events for Box Stocks and Intermediates will be held on Tuesday night, along with the main Showcase racing.

The entry period for the Outlaw Kart Showcase ended on August 1 and includes racers from 13 states, ranging in age from 7 to 60 years old. Notable entrants include the current top three scorers at Cycleland, Chili Bowl Midget Nationals champion Rico Abreu, Dale Earnhardt’s granddaughter Karsyn Elledge, World of Outlaws top competitor David Gravel, 2013 Kings Royal Champion Brad Sweet, and defending Outlaw Kart Showcase winner Colby Copeland.

For those unable to attend in person, live streaming of the Outlaw Kart Showcase will be provided by Fast Four Media. Streaming packages for both nights of the event can be purchased for $45, or $20 for Monday and $25 for Tuesday’s race. Please visit FastFourMedia.com to purchase streaming access to the event.
