Transair advanced industrial water piping system enables rapid and easy installation. The quick pipe-to-pipe and component to pipe make installation of a new water distribution piping system fast and easy, keeping the down time to a minimum. Not only is the initial installation fast with Transair, all components are reusable so the system can be disassembled and re-assembled if needed. Quick modification is another great advantage of using Transair technology – drops can be installed in minutes. No time consuming welding is required to install or modify the Transair industrial water piping system. Transair technology takes into account the specific requirements of each pipe size – three different quick connections are used:

Fluid Compatibility – Industrial water (Compatible with additives like glycol or inhibitors, which prevent the formation of algae or fungus)
Maximum Working Pressure - 145 psi
Working Temperature Range - Sizes 1/2”, 3/4” – from -4°F to +185°F, other sizes – from -4°F to +140°F
Expansion Coefficient – 0.016”/ft/°F
Fire Resistance – All Transair components are non-flammable with no propagation of flame. Pipe-to-pipe and threaded connectors, ball valves and butterfly valves conform to the UL94HB standard.
Electrical conductivity – Transair components can be used when grounding and electrical continuity are required when appropriate measures are taken. Contact us for more information.
