MFCP - SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT
This Supplier Code of Conduct (“Code”) defines the minimum standards that suppliers, contractors, and service providers (“Suppliers”) must meet when doing business with Motion & Flow Control Products, Inc. (“MFCP”).
Suppliers are expected to comply with this Code, all applicable laws, and recognized international labor standards.
1. Legal & Ethical Compliance
Suppliers must:
- Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations
- Conduct business ethically and with integrity
- Maintain accurate business records and documentation
2. Prohibition of Forced and Child Labor
Suppliers must not:
- Use forced, bonded, involuntary, or trafficked labor
- Require workers to surrender identity documents or pay recruitment fees
- Employ workers below the legal minimum working age
3. Wages, Hours & Benefits
Suppliers must:
- Pay workers at least the legally required minimum wage
- Compensate overtime in accordance with applicable laws
- Provide legally mandated benefits
- Maintain accurate and transparent payroll and timekeeping records
4. Non‑Discrimination & Fair Treatment
Suppliers must:
- Provide equal employment opportunities without discrimination
- Prohibit harassment, abuse, or retaliation of any kind
- Treat workers with dignity and respect
5. Health & Safety
Suppliers must:
- Provide a safe and healthy workplace
- Identify and mitigate occupational health and safety risks
- Provide appropriate training and personal protective equipment
- Maintain emergency preparedness and incident reporting procedures
6. Freedom of Association
Suppliers must:
- Respect workers’ rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining, consistent with applicable law
- Not retaliating against workers for exercising lawful workplace rights
7. Subcontracting & Labor Brokers
Suppliers must:
- Ensure subcontractors and labor agencies comply with this Code
- Maintain transparency regarding the use of subcontractors or temporary labor
- Remain responsible for compliance throughout their supply chain
- Ensure that materials incorporated into products supplied to MFCP comply with the slavery and human trafficking laws of the country or countries where the Supplier does business.
8. Audits, Monitoring & Corrective Action
Suppliers must:
- Maintain records demonstrating compliance with this Code
- Cooperate with reasonable compliance inquiries or assessments
- Promptly address identified non‑compliance through corrective actions
MFCP reserves the right to reassess or terminate supplier relationships for material or repeated violations.
9. Reporting Concerns
Suppliers are encouraged to report suspected violations of this Code or applicable laws related to labor, ethics, or human rights. Reports should be made without fear of retaliation.
10. Acknowledgment
Suppliers doing business with MFCP are expected to acknowledge and comply with this Code as a condition of engagement.
