Air Saver Application Example: Part Cleaning Machinery
An Air Saver (sometimes referred to as a pulsating air valve or pulsing air valve) is a pneumatic valve that converts constant flow of air to pulsing air. Using an Air Saver in open-ended pneumatic applications can lead to reducing compressed air consumption by up to 50%, while performing the same amount of work.
Parker ASV200, ASV2000 and ASV5000 pneumatic pulsing air valves are all suitable choices for assisting air blow on a production line. Choose the one that matches up with your air flow requirement.
In the application below (parts assembly machine manufacturing), the ASV5000 Air Saver unit resulted in both improved efficiency of cleaning the parts and greatly reduced compressed air consumption.
