Metal Brake & Clutch Tubing | EziBend
"... more and more cars built since 2000 are developing rust issues..."This is according to recent post on ABC News 10 website.
We wrote a blog about this back in April of 2010, when National Highway Traffic Safety Administration first opened investigations into roughly 6.2 million General Motors fullsize trucks for issues related to rusted brake lines. Since then, more cars seem to be affected, and not just GM.
According to News 10, there is no recall, and dealers have been fabricating replacement brake lines, at a cost between $1,000 and $2,000. GM spokesman Alan Adler now says that a repair kit is available from GM - for about $500.
EziBend is a good alternative to purchasing dealer's kit. It won't rust and it won't cost $500.
