Introduction
Motion & Flow Control Products, Inc. (“MFCP”) is a manufacturer and distributor of motion and flow control products and systems, serving industrial, commercial, and OEM customers. MFCP is committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly and to respecting human rights throughout its operations and supply chain.
This disclosure is made pursuant to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 and describes MFCP’s efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from its direct supply chain for tangible goods offered for sale.
1. Verification of Supply Chains
MFCP engages in verification activities to a limited extent to evaluate risks related to slavery and human trafficking within its direct supply chain. These activities include internal supplier onboarding reviews and the maintenance of signed supplier acknowledgments of MFCP’s Supplier Code of Conduct.
MFCP’s verification activities are conducted internally and are not currently performed by a third party.
2. Supplier Audits
MFCP conducts supplier audits to a limited extent, primarily focused on quality, safety, and operational performance. MFCP does not routinely conduct independent, unannounced audits specifically focused on slavery or human trafficking compliance.
Where available, MFCP may review relevant third‑party audit reports or compliance information provided by suppliers as part of its supplier management process.
3. Supplier Certification
MFCP requires all direct suppliers to acknowledge and agree to MFCP’s Supplier Code of Conduct as a condition of doing business.
As part of this acknowledgment, suppliers are required to certify that materials incorporated into products supplied to MFCP comply with applicable laws regarding slavery and human trafficking in the country or countries in which they operate.
MFCP maintains records of supplier acknowledgments as part of its supplier compliance and management practices.
4. Internal Accountability
MFCP maintains internal accountability standards and procedures applicable to employees and contractors who fail to comply with company policies, including policies related to ethical conduct and legal compliance.
Violations of MFCP policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or business relationships, as appropriate.
5. Training
MFCP provides training to a limited extent to employees responsible for supply chain management and business operations regarding ethical business conduct and compliance with applicable laws.
At this time, MFCP does not provide specialized training focused exclusively on slavery and human trafficking risk mitigation within the supply chain.
Continuous Improvement
MFCP recognizes that addressing risks related to slavery and human trafficking is an ongoing process. MFCP will continue to evaluate and, where appropriate, enhance its policies, procedures, and supplier engagement practices in response to business growth, regulatory developments, and customer expectations.
