The dimensions of Parker HY Series fittings, produced after September 2012, have been changed. Parker Hose Products Division (HPD) is marking all boxes containing the new fittings with a blue label. The alteration only occurs in straight configurations (sizes -6 and -8).
- The distance between the end of the shell and the end of the nipple is longer in the new design.
- Based on this change, a modified hose insertion depth has been updated to 1 3/8” for size -6 hose. Hose insertion depth in size -8 will remain the same.
- The pre-crimp diameter is larger in the new design.
- The shoulder width has changed and is reflected dimensionally in the print above.
- The through hole has been increased and is reflected in the above print.
