Reduce Inventory Needs with Parker 722TC Series Hose

Parker’s newly designed 722TC series hydraulic hose enables maintenance shops to save money by reducing necessary inventory of hose ends. How is this possible? Read on to find out….
The new Parker 722TC Series hose is a close cousin of the 721TC series hose (which it will eventually replace). Both 721TC and 722TC series are four-wire spiral-reinforced hoses. Both hoses conform to SAE 100R12 specification, and have the same working pressure rating. However, the 722TC series hose uses Parker 43 series fittings (up to 1-1/4” in size). 722TC hose still uses 71 series fittings for 1-1/2”, and 2” sizes (as does the 721TC hose).
So how does that help reduce the required inventory of hydraulic hose ends? The reason is that Parker’s 43 series fittings can now be crimped on Parker’s 722TC four-wire hydraulic hoses, as well as Parker’s two-wire hydraulic hoses. There is no need to stock 71 series hose ends (1-1/4” and below) as the 43 series ends can be used on both two and four-wire hoses. Your shop inventory will be reduced, and you will save shelf space. Please remember that this applies to the 722TC four-wire hose up to 1-1/4”. The larger diameter 722TC hose (1-1/2” and 2”) still requires 71 series hose ends.
As an added benefit, 43 series fittings come in more shapes and end configurations than any other Parker crimp fitting, giving you more options to solve routing problems in tight spaces.
Summary of 722TC Series Hose Benefits:
- Uses the same 43 series fitting that is crimped onto a two-wire hose for sizes up to 1-1/4” diameter.
- Less shelf space needed in your shop by consolidating the 71 series and 43 series fittings.
- A wider selection of end configurations and body shapes are available in 43 series fittings than in the 71 series fitting line.
- Same working performance and SAE 100R12 rating as the 721TC hose.
- Reduces time needed when taking an annual inventory
- 722LT Series also available for low temperature application.
