Use Parker Tracking System Tags to Help Your Social Distancing

We wrote about the advantages of the Parker Tracking System (PTS) back in August of 2013. One of the great benefits we talk about is the ability to order a replacement hose assembly without the need to leave your shop. Today, with mandates for social distancing, the ability to order parts without physical interaction with other people is critical.
PTS is a system of tagging and tracking hydraulic hose assemblies, tube assemblies, and potentially other fabricated parts so that anyone can order the replacement assemblies over the phone or email without knowing all the pieces.
When we make the hose assembly, we'll enter all the information needed to fabricate it to the Parker's PTS database. The database generates a unique ID, which prints on your PTS tag attached to your assembly.
When the time comes to replace the hose or tube assembly, you call or email any participating Parker distributor and give them the assembly ID. The Parker dealer accesses the Parker database to obtain the fabrication information and fabricates a replacement. There is no need to bring your old assembly to our store. We will ship your new assembly directly to your shop.
If the hose is still working, you can wait to remove it from your equipment until the replacement arrives.
