General Purpose Pneumatic Couplings | Parker
Parker General Purpose Pneumatic Couplings can be ordered either as a manual connect or push-to-connect style.The manual connect couplers are coupled by pullling back the coupler sleeve, inserting the nipple, and releasing the sleeve. Connecting Parker manual connect air couplings is easy, but it requires use of both hands. The Parker push-to-connect couplings are connected by pushing the nipple in to the coupler half. If the coupler half is rigidly mounted, connection requires use of only one hand.
Either manual connect or push-to-connect style couplings are disconnecting by pulling back the sleeve on the coupler half.
CAUTION: When disconnecting couplings under pressure, secure both halves of the coupling. The residual pressure may result in hose whip, which can lead to injury and damage of property.
